The PGI designation, as well as giving us something to be proud of, guarantees a rigorous control of the production process combined with the use of top-quality ingredients. The almonds we use are of the best quality and are selected by hand to avoid any possible impurities. The candied fruit is processed with traditional techniques, in order to reach an optimal level of softness and sweetness. Once cooled, each Panpepato is wrapped manually and individually. The well-known strong flavour of black panforte is thanks to the mixture of spices with an intense taste such as nutmeg, cloves and allspice.
